Steering Committee Members present:
Johnson, Meyerson, Becker, Jefferson, Ford, Buckley, Saginak, Simmons, Petronicolos, Inda, Garcia, Henn-Reinke

Meeting called to order by Beeth at 1:00 PM

Open Session:

Beeth and Cramer thanked everyone for attending the meeting.

Cramer placed the following six focal points on the blackboard:

  1. How are we doing according to rubrics?
  2. Are we going where we want to be going?
  3. What are we doing well?
  4. Where are we over investing our time and energy?
  5. Where are the holes?
  6. What processes etc. need to put in place to fill holes?

Petronicolos presented an overhead presentation regarding their committee findings regarding the Conceptual Framework. 
Points for discussion resulting from the overhead presentation were:

  1. The need to define dispositions
  2. Need to look at our own standards and see where the dispositions are covered.
  3. Knowledge Skills disposition to go along with conceptual model

 

Cramer pointed out the six focus points on the blackboard and asked that everyone keep them in mind as they work on their specific committee.
Each task group moved their first draft to two other people in the group review and feedback. 
Meeting adjourned at 3:00 PM.
