Kenneth L. Liske earned the Bachelor of Music in
Music Education and Voice at Heidleberg College, Tiffin,
Ohio; the Master of Music in Music Education from
Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio;
and the Ph.D. in Music Education and Educational Technology
from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge. He is
author of Musical Elements: A Classroom Method for
Handchimes, published by the American Guild of English
Handbell Ringers.At the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh,
Dr. Liske serves as Director of Choral and General
Music Education, Coordinator of Music Advisement,
and MENC-Collegiate Chapter Advisor.
Prior to teaching at the university level, Dr. Lisk
taught for nine years in the public schools of Ohio
and Louisiana, specializing in middle-level choral
and classroom music. He currently serves as president-elect
of the Wisconsin Music Educators Association, webmaster
for the Wisconsin Choral Directors Association, site
manager for the Wisconsin School Music Association
state solo and ensemble festival at UW Oshkosh, and
is a founding member of the Wisconsin Society for
Music Teacher Education. Dr. Liske's professional
interests include classroom music methods, teacher
education, and web- supported instruction in music.
His work has been published in Update: Applications
of Research in Music Education. He has presented scholarship
and interest sessions at national and divisional conferences
of MENC: The National Association for Music Education,
Technology Institute for Music Educators, and the
American Music Therapy Association, as well as at
state association conferences in Florida, Louisiana,
Ohio, and Wisconsin. Additional professional affiliations
include the Organization of American Kodály
Educators, the American Orff-Schulwerk Association,
the College Music Society Kappa Delta Pi International
Honor Society in Education, and Pi Kappa Lambda National
Honor Society in Music.

in total.) Eight years teaching middle level choral
and general music, one year teaching high school choir
and fine arts. Additional teaching assignments included
