Brief Bio:

I first taught elementary education grades 2-6 over five years in school districts in WI and MO. For four years I served as a graduate assistant at UW Madison and completed a doctoral degree in Curriculum with a minor in Educational Issues and Policies. I served as an Assistant Professor at U of MO Kansas City and at Carroll College prior to joining the faculty at UW Oshkosh. I have provided extensive service and leadership to the College of Education and Human Services.

My current scholarship is devoted to writing poetry that is being published by educational journals, most recently by WSRA Journal (WI State Reading Association) and WAMLE Journal (WI Association for Middle Level Education). Additionally I read widely in preparation for graduate teaching, chair the college Library Committee, and oversee curriculum projects and action research projects undertaken by my graduate students.
