Brief Bio:

I have been in the education field for twenty-seven years. The first fifteen years of my career were spent teaching various grades and classroom configurations at the elementary level. I moved on to middle school when my daughters hit the teen years and again taught a variety of grade levels and content areas. My first assignment was teaching both traditional and at-risk math and language arts to sixth, seventh and eighth graders. I spent another year teaching seventh grade social studies and two years teaching sixth grade language arts. After resigning from the public school system, I spent a year as a student, brushing up on my computer skills. I was hired at UWO as a supervisor for student teachers and interns. Since that first year, I have not only continued in this capacity but have also supervised clinical students, taught Individual, School and Society, co-taught middle school and high school students in the APPLE summer program held on campus, taught the Supervision of Student Teachers course and taught an Introduction to Teaching as a Career distance learning course through Continuing Ed.
