I obtained an undergraduate degree in Elementary and Special
Education with an emphasis in working with students with
emotional and behavioral disorders. Soon after completing
my undergraduate degree I started my Master's Degree in
Educational Leadership taking classes in International and
Comparative Education and Multicultural Education. During
this time I taught English in China and worked in Japan
for a summer. I also helped to lead study abroad trips to
Greece and substitute taught in in the Oshkosh Area School
District. I was hired as an ad hoc instructor to teach Multicultural
Education and Teaching as an Professional: Legal and Ethical
Aspects of Education and began administrating the Global
Educator Graduate Certificate Program. I have also taught
classes within this program. I am currently pursuing a doctoral
degree in Urban Education at the University of Wisconsin
Milwaukee with an emphasis in Social Foundations of Education.
