I teach Counselor Education 201, Academic and Career Exploration.
As an instructor, I recognize the importance of curricular
and co-curricular learning. I utilize student development
theory in course planning and implementation, and work to
achieve specific learning outcomes. I expect a high-level
of student participation in courses that I teach. As a higher
education professional, I believe in appropriate challenge
and support, and strive to create a seamless learning environment
that fosters student success. As an Assistant Director of
Academic Advising in the Undergraduate Advising Resource Center,
I coordinate the undergraduate advising for the College of
Education and Human Services.
