The Department of Human Services and Educational Leadership The programs sponsored under this Department offer the opportunity to build the unique capacities of leadership in the fields of education and human services. At the undergraduate level, our Human Services Leadership Program serves a multidisciplinary, empowering profession. The Human Service professional is a generalist who empowers people through a variety of therapeutic, teaching, counseling, supportive and preventive methods, often in collaboration with a specialized professional in an organized human service delivery system. At the graduate level, the Master of Science in Educational Leadership is designed to prepare professionals for leadership and change - agent roles in various educational and helping settings. The program succeeds in meeting individual needs by providing wide latitude in student/advisor program planning consistent with the career goals and needs of the clientele served by the program.
