International student teaching is an exciting option for adventurous, qualified students.

The College of Education and Human Services offers an exciting option to student teach internationally. Global Student Teaching (GST) is offered to UW Oshkosh student teachers through an agreement with the University of Minnesota Morris, the UW Oshkosh Office of International Education (http://www.uwosh.edu/oie/index.php) and the College of Education and Human Services. For more information on this unique opportunity check out the Global Student Teaching web site (www.globalst.org).

This option is available for qualified full-time candidates who will spend one school quarter in an overseas setting after one quarter of student teaching state side. If you are serious about living, working and growing in a new culture, contact MaryBeth Petesch, Director of Field Experiences (petesch@uwosh.edu ), read over the Flier, and fill out a Data Sheet and bring it to a briefing meeting for interested candidates. These meetings are held after the General Admission II/Student Teaching Information meeting in mid February/September.
