My professional interests and research areas include supporting families of children with disabilities, special education law and policy issues, ethical issues and reasoning, and the inclusion of children with disabilities into school and community settings. From 2003-05, I served as Interim Dean, College of Education and Human Services at UW Oshkosh.

I have four published books on the topics of behavioral assessment of students with emotional/behavioral disabilities, special education advocacy competencies, and school-based support services for parents and families of children with disabilities.
