Dean's Welcome
On behalf of the faculty, staff and student leadership of the
College of Education and Human Services, welcome to our web page.
We trust you find the information you seek about our College, and
we appreciate your interest in our programs and activities. We
hope you will give us the opportunity to meet your education needs
in the near future.
The College of Education and Human Services (COEHS) has a rich
tradition in public postsecondary education "to prepare professionals
in education, counseling, and human services who are caring, intellectual
visionaries." We offer programs at both undergraduate and
graduate levels.
The College has six departments that can serve you. These include
Counselor Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Foundations,
Human Services and Professional Leadership, Reading Education,
and Special Education. One of the strongest assets of the College
is the group of excellent faculty, staff and students who provide
leadership and support in our programs. Another valuable asset
is the collective energy and action stimulated by partnerships
with the educational community, community agencies and organizations,
and other groups.
